After updating my iPhone 6s with iOS 15.8 the internal speaker doesn't work any more. Sounds & music can only be heard via headphones. How can the speaker be reactivated?

A. Go Here: If you Hear No Sound or Distorted Sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Speaker - Apple Support
B. Volume Input: if your Microphone isn’t Working or People Can’t Hear you While you’re on a Call -Apple Support
C. Restart your iPhone:
Having just installed an update, restart your iPhone (as you always should after any update install): Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Funnily enough I tried 2 or 3 restarts and the result was: Now the speaker works again! - as if nothing had ever happened. :-) Apple's Macs and iPhones are a bit eccentric sometimes, but I love all devices that have an on them.
