I can't restore my old iPad Air
im trying to restore my old ipad air cause it's locked due to forgotten password and now i can't restore it on my laptop
why does it said that "An Unknown error occurred (5)

Apple doesn't explicitly list error #5, however, this error is sometimes linked with Anti-Virus and/or firewall software running on the host computer.

While you do so entirely at your own risk, try temporarily disabling your AV/Firewall software - and then repeat your attempt to restore your iPad.
