iPad Air restore error 3014

I have a brand new iPad Air 2nd gen and am locked out of it as I forgot the passcode I set! So now I want to restore it back to factory but I get the error 3014 when my mac is trying to restore it.

I've tried different ports on my mac and using the original cable so not sure what else it can be. Just did the latest update on my mac too.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks!
