The iPhone 6 cannot update further then iOS 12.5.7

The iPhone 6S cannot update further then iOS 15.8

If you indeed have a 6S and want to update to iOS 15.8, please go to settings>general>software update and make sure to turn off low power mode and to connect to a wifi network.

If the update is downloaded but it will not install, please remove the downloaded update and try again:

  1. Go to Settings > General > [Device name] Storage.
  2. Find the update in the list of apps.
  3. Tap the update, then tap Delete Update.
  4. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest update.

If you still cannot update, please update via a pc or Mac instead
