Looking for adapters to power old MacBook (MagSafe 2) using USB-C

I still use my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) which wants to be powered by a MagSafe 2 (85W max). After some research I bought the "LogiLink USB-C Cable PA0226 to Apple MagSafe 2". According to the manual it should work with 61W/87W PD chargers. Apparently it is VERY picky when it comes to USB-C chargers. I haven't tried too many by now, but e.g. the 67W Anker 315 does not work. Somehow the 67W Anker 535 car charger works but delivers only 45W, while only using a single charging port of this charger. Has anyone found a better solution to charge an old MBP like this using USB-C?

Sounds like a lot of trouble when there are still Apple adapters available. I bought a spare Apple adaptor for my non-Retina 2012 Macbook Pro from OWC to keep in my travel bag, and they still list the one for the Retina Mid 2012 15-inch:
