Screen captures - can you append app name to the filename

Take a look a Name Mangler . With it you can change the name on a batch of screenshots with a padded number tacked on at the end.

Or add a prefix to all of them. It's a very powerful app.

I work with a lot of screenshots....and find having them numbered is the easiest way on the Desktop to keep things

separated, organized, recognizable, and if necessary rename if I intend to keep the screenshot.

You can rename any screenshot.

once I have the options set with Shift Command 5 to suit my needs:
