What if there’s no Forgot Password? Option

That's because there is no such option. If you've been locked out for 8 hours, you have two choices.

1. If you know the correct passcode, wait the 8 hours and then enter the correct passcode
2. If you don't know the correct passcode and your iPhone is updated to at least iOS 15.2 or higher, follow the directions in the related article at the top of this page, which brought you here. You will need to erase your iPhone to get back in.
3. If by chance your iPhone is updated to iOS 17 and you changed your passcode, there is a new feature to use your previous passcode to unlock your phone. Since you are locked out for 8 hours, this likely won't help you, but here it is anyway --> Temporarily use your old passcode when you forget your new passcode on iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you can't remember the passcode, you will have to erase and restore the phone.
