Potential issues with Nord VPN and wireless printers ...

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about signing up with Nord VPN for my new 15" MacBook Air (running Sonoma 14.1), but in my research I've been seeing quite a few comments from people who have problems when they have it and try to use their wireless printer. As my printer is an HP wireless printer in the "Envy" series I am worried about these potential issues. I am not super tech-savvy and don't want to get my self into a situation where there might always be problems to solve so any input would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!

I could see using a VPN because you don't want random website to know your IP address. Is this not a reasonable reason to use a VPN?

Your computer is assigned a private IP Address that is not accessible from the Internet. My computer and thousands/millions of other computers, including yours, all have the same IP Address such as 192.168.x.x. This is a private address that no one outside your private network can access. So, to answer your question, no, that is not a reason to use a public VPN.
