IOS 15.8 Issues

My iphone 7 stopped working after updating to ios 15.8. How do I fix this?

Troubleshooting - iPhone 7 

1. 

Remove and reinsert the SIM card.

If it doesn't help visit your carrier, maybe the SIM card is damaged, ask for a replaced (new) card. Normally it is free.

Ask also to check if the SIM tray is bent, as even a tiny misalignment can cause the SIM card to not fully connect with the internal contacts in your iPhone.

iPhone 7 is > 7 years old, which also affects the battery life. The hardware remains old, so does the battery.

If it is still possible, have the battery replaced.

The battery can be replaced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

My iPhone 7 Plus started having phone and camera issues starting with IOS 15.7. I'm seeing these problems continue into IOS 15.8. Essentially I need to restart my phone to enjoy a few hours of the phone and camera features working properly.


When the phone isn't working, I can't send calls and when I receive calls I can't hear the person on the other line and they can't hear me.


When the camera isn't working, the camera feature freezes after trying to take a photo.


Resetting the apps does not help. Only after restarting the iphone will these apps work properly but only for a limited amount of time.
