Alarms are way too quiet on new iPhone 15

This is exactly how I feel scout this iPhone 15! I HATE IT!!!!

I have had many Genius Bar appointments, I’ve had Apple senior support help calls more than 15 times…. no one can fix or troubleshoot the problems. The phone has been exchanged for a new one, just different problems now, it’s been reset to factory settings, helped some, not others, made new problems.

It is ridiculous!

I finally talked to an Apple support employee that actually KNOWS the products!

He told me Apple doesn’t look at the community posts as data to go towards changes.

He said they only take data from the feedback form. I submitted feedback on wanting volume control for alarms. I hope more do!

I also set a shortcut automation for every time an alarm starts that my ringer turns to 100% volume.

Then, made an automation for each time an alarm is stopped to turn the ringer back 10%

Thank you, thank you thank you this worked amazingly tested the alarm out for my first evening with the phone making sure it was gonna wake me up in time for work and I panicked. I tried to few things but then doing exactly what you said it worked immediately. Thank you again.

I’ve been setting up my alarm. For two nights in a row I’ve been late to work on May 5—May 6 2024. I usually always come early/on time. I decided to test out my alarm on the iPhone 15 plus. My alarm goes off quiet.

Same as me I have to set my alarm clock just in case it doesn’t go off need to up for the kids

and yes Apple needs to make this a toggle only for alarms.

Okay even though my volume was already at max when I did this it made my alarm wayyyy louder. THANK YOU! Follow these instructions and I hope it works for you!

I got a new iphone 15. I’m a light sleeper and slept through the alarm missing a 6am flight for an important work trip. It’s very quiet! I also made sure all sounds were turned up.

This solved the issue for me! Not intuitive at all.

This alarm volume issue is ridiculous. This isn’t the first smart phone ever. Never had this Very Simple issue to fix, with an android, ever. Never ever addressed by such a massive company. Wow

It works. Now the alarm volume follows the volume set for your ringer. Thank you!
