MacOS Slow start up after Ventura Upgrade

Hello,

My macbook 2017 started taking 6+ minutes to boot up. I've already tried erasing and reinstalling Mac Ventura OS. I have a Sabrent SSD 2TB installed, so I have plenty of space.

The last thing I did was re-install my original 250GB SSD, erase & re-install Ventura, re-insert my SSD, Erase, and re-install Ventura again. But this time, I opted to start fresh and not add my time machine information assuming maybe some old program was the culprit. (I also have all my files in the cloud) I cleared the PRAM as well. I have no clue what I could be doing wrong to cause this ridiculously slow bootup. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached the Etre Check Report as well.

Thank you too @ Lovemaykillyou for the followup information

There are a number of factors that come into play where using the Apple Original SSD or the After Market SSD drive

Part 1 of 2

The only areas of the Operating System we users have control over is the User Account Folder ( Home Folder )

All other areas are not accessible

It is generally a good computer practice to alway keep at least 20% to 25% of the Total Drive Capacity’s as Empty Space.

Allowing the computer to drop below these guidelines may eventually cause unintended consequences including the Slow performance at Boot Up and subsequent Slow Performance under normal usages

Also, when the computer is using so much CPU / Memory - it can be a indicator of a Lack Of Empty Spaces on the Drive.

In which case, the CPU and Memory usage would become much more because it is searching for Empty Space to save all the Changes the user is performing.

Part 2 of 2

Applications used on the computer can also slow down the Bootup Times and subsequent over all Performance under normal operations

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

1 - Disk Cleaner

2  - Third Party Security Software

The The Built in Security  is all that is required.

Hi P.Philips, Thank you so much for the help.

With the Original SSD Apple Drive, the laptop turns on within 30 seconds. Unfortunately, I didn't add any files so I don't know how it works when the drive is full.

The Sabrent Rocket Nano SSD when I had done a clean installation with no files turned on within 37 seconds. But the more files I add the more the bootup slows down. I still have a lot of space available though.

Old thread I know but I have been having this exact same issue and when I boot from smaller external clean install ventura ssd the boot up is much quicker than booting from larger clean install ventura nvme? ssd connected to standard usb port on 2017 imac, nvme connected to thunderbolt port. To add to this insanity speed disk test indicates that nvme is 4 times faster than ssd, and yet booting Ventura from supposedly faster nvme is far slower than booting from ssd? have tried swapping out cables, different ports, reinstalling ventura, absolutely nothing seems to make any difference at all, ssd boot of ventura far quicker than nvme by at least half, ant clues anyone?

Please start your own thread since your issue is different than the OP's here. The OP here was using a third party internal SSD which was most likely the cause of their performance issues. That way your issue will have a better chance of getting the attention it deserves.

Make sure to run EtreCheck and post the report in your new thread so that we can examine the report for clues.
