Printing issue on my Canon printer

I have two IPads on IOS 17 (just updated) and since three weeks i have a printing issue from one of the iPads.

One of the Ipads contains the print app of Canon and the other doesn't. The Ipad without the Canon app prints well, but the other with the Canon app doesn't print.

I've tried to print out of the native mail app, Safari and Gmail app. In the list you can choose the right printer, but after firing the document to the printer the print order has the waiting status and doesn't come out.

If i print a pdf of jpg out of the Canon app then the print comes out rapidly.

I tried several things (starting up the Ipad, de-installing and then printing, installing and printing) but the result is the same: the ordeer doesn't come out.

I suspect that the software from the apps and the print app doesn't work well together anymore.

I hope someone has any suggestions what to do.

I think of doing a factory reset perhaps this wil help.

Thank you for any response in advance.

With regards
