No option for removing username and password from login screen

We used to have the option to show only the empty username and password boxes on the login screen, but that’s gone in Sonoma. Is there a way to accomplish this in Sonoma?

I used to get this screen before, much more secure. Not anymore.

Have you tried to toggle off the "Show user name and photo" option in the Lock Screen System Settings?

I also see another option under "When Switching User" where there is a "Name and password" for the "Login window shows" option in the Lock Screen System Settings which may also need to be set.

HWTech,
There are only two choices under the “Login window shows” menu: “List of users” and “Name and password”.
You probably have an older OS version.

I checked from my Sonoma boot drive. It was an Intel Mac, but my Ventura M2 Mac had the same options.

Edit: The two options I mentioned are a bit separated in the Lock Screen System Settings. They are not right next to each other. I'm not at my Ventura system so I cannot provide a screenshot.
