can I update to a newer version of safari if my MacOS is only 10.15.7

Website is requiring a newer version of Safari to run, but my iMac is OS is Catalina 10.15.7 and does not allow me to upgrade anything. Do I just have to switch and use a different web browser? Or is there a way to actually update Safari (because I am NOT finding it).

Updating Safari on Catalina OS? I'm on an older iMac, and last OS update was to Catalina. Today I was trying to follow the guidance in this article, and am unable to locate an updated version of Safari in the App Store to download and update. My current (and outdated) Safari version is 15.6.1. Any ideas ow I can update even though my Mac is no longer receiving OS updates?

updating safari on mac Have a late 2012 mac. Updated to Catalina 10.15.7 this past spring. Currently operating safari browser 15. Have one app that requires safari 16. Have done the system preference and app store approaches to attempt update. In both tries was told no update available or system is up to date. How do i get safari version 16 ? thanks
