Apple Keyboard / Ipad air pro -

Hi, I am using an iPad Pro 11 and have an Apple keyboard to support the connectivity. I am challenged with limited expansion ports. Which docking station can I use with the Apple Keyboard's type C for connecting a mouse, external display, etc. so I can fully leverage IPAD pro without investing money in Mac?

a. Can an Apple Keyboard be used for docking or should I use the IPAD's charging port for Docking?

b. If the latter, should I look for a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 or a regular USB-C dock? Please recommend a dock.

c. Can I use my existing Logitech Bluetooth mouse or do I have to buy the magic mouse?

Thanks for your response.

Presumably you refer to an Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad. The USB-C connection within the spine of the folding keyboard can only be used to charge the iPad; this USB-C port cannot be used to connect other USB accessories.

USB devices can be connected to your iPad Pro using the iPad's own USB-C port.

There are many third-party USB Hubs that have a USB-C connection for iPad plus a USB-C PD (Power Delivery) pass-through power connector to which you can connect your USB-C Power Adapter - along with the hub itself incorporating a combination of additional USB-C ports, USB 2.0/3.1 Type-A ports, Ethernet LAN, HDMI, VGA, SD and microSD card-readers.

Perhaps consider Kingston, Anker, Hyperdrive and Satechi - although there are many others from which to choose. A Google Search for USB-C Hubs compatible with iPad will find a number of articles and recommendations.

Many third-party Bluetooth mice are directly compatible with iPad.
