Did a bit more digging, which I should have done in the first place, and I find this watch, that is offered as a special at $49.95, several places on line for half that price even. So what does that tell us? I know what it tells me.

No, it's not a real Apple product. Apple currently only makes one wearable, the Apple Watch.
Whether it's a scam or not, I don't know. If the ad implies that it's connected by Apple, I'd have to agree with WaDelicious that it's probably a scam.
I’ve had my vital fit now for about 3 wks…. Has to be charged every 24 hrs (ridiculous) does not record my sleep at all. It’s not worth what I paid for it but I don’t expect anything from them trying to return or get a refund. Very poor quality!
