Need to upgrade scanner (Canon 5600F) software for macOS12.6.8
Just updated system software for my iMac (macOS12.6.8). Canon scanner (5600F) won't connect. Canon does not list an upgrade software. Any suggestions?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

I don't see anything suggesting that the scanner supports AirPrint. Canon's most recent drivers are for Mojave – and there's a message on the Canon site saying that they no longer support the scanner any more.

There's a third-party product called VueScan that you might want to look into:

Vuescan is a super app. I have used it for many years with both film & flatbed scanners.
And it supports the Canon 5600F without needing any Canon drivers.
Another vote for VueScan, has worked for dozens of different Scanners for a decade or two.
