"No Active Subscription" and "Cannot Connect" with Apple Music after resetting Apple ID password

I changed my Apple ID password last week, but it's caused a few problems to say the least. I ended up resetting it again and it seems to have only made it worse.

I was trying to play music that I didn't have downloaded and it gave me a message saying I have no active subscription and I have to make sure I'm signed in or re-subscribe, but I was already signed in! And when I tried to play music that I do have downloaded, it would play for a fraction of a second and then pause, and then I would hit play again and the same thing happened.

I've been using Apple Music for years with no problem. This only happened when I reset my Apple ID password. I signed out of my Apple ID on my phone, restarted my phone, then signed back in, and now when I try to play music I don't have downloaded I get this message saying "Can't Connect" and of course hitting the "retry" button does absolutely nothing. So I've basically deleted everything from my Apple wallet and removed a bunch of music from my phone for nothing. Everything I do to fix this problem just makes it worse and I'm losing my mind here.
