I have a Mac book air that has Big Sur from 2013 how can I update software enough to get keynote

I have a Mac book air from 2013 apparently and I just really need to install keynote or power point is there a way to do this or install update that will allow me to

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 11.7

says

For 2013 models : Newest compatible operating system: macOS Big Sur

So seems your Mac cannot update beyond any Big Sur updates.

says

macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 is the newest Big Sur update.

(You can check your version: Click black apple at top left of menu bar > About this Mac )

The way I understand it:

the App Store will only install compatible versions of any Apple apps we attempt to download.


If your Mac is updated to MacOS 11.7.10, you could likely download a compatible version of Keynote.

The "Keynote" webpage (link below) links to the App store ...

(you can click "version history" to see the earlier versions).
