trying to update older mac running high sierra w no updates found

I am trying to update my Mac from macOS high sierra to macOS Catalina, but it is telling me there are no updates, what can I do ?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

If your iMac meets the hardware requirements for Catalina, follow the steps mentioned in this article, after you opened it in Safari:

Ingo2711 has you covered, but for info... Your looking for an Upgrade, Updates are within an OS major version, like 10.13.5 to 10.13.7, 10.5.* would be an Upgrade.
