MacBook Pro 2020 doesn't connect with LG display via USB-C
I have a MacBook Pro from 2020 and bought a LG27up850 screen to connect the MacBook thru USB-C, so I have the screen connection and it powers the laptop with 1 cable. It worked for more than a half year with the cable from LG, but since a month he has difficulties to connect with the screen. And when I plugin the cable the screen recognizes the USB-C port but the MacBook keeps trying to connect but it never connects. So the MacBook screen tries to get the resolution from the LG so the screen goes from normal size to a bit bigger and that keeps happening the whole time. I bought a new thunderbolt 4 cable and still the same problem. I also tried with the new cable to a screen from somebody else and it connected immediately. And when I connected a windows laptop with the USB-C cable it does work on my screen. So I don’t know anymore what to try haha.. Does anybody here know a solution?
