Connecting/Disconnecting USB-C hub to MacBook
Hello, the best Community ever! :)
My question may seem stupid, but it worries me.
I connect a monitor and an iPad to my MacBook Air 15" (2023) via a hub as a second and third screen. Since this connection charges the iPad in parallel, the Malbook's charge quickly runs out. Thus, I have to connect the hub while working and disconnect it as soon as I'm finishing my work.
I want to understand how much this process can physically harm my MacBook (from Thunderbolt ports to the battery). I mean the constant need to connect and disconnect the hub.
Thanks in advance!
