How to solve th error: storage system check exit code 8?

My mac started rebooting continously.

I rebooted into recovery mode and disk utility revealed the error: storage system check exit code 8. Disk utility cannot repair the error.

tried to reinstall, which also did not work.

I erased the HDD and tried to reinstall. The installation seemed to work and completed, however, the exit code 8 still exits and the system does not boot. It shows a blinking folder with question mark.
