During a Zoom meditation meeting I wanted to ring a bell to mark beginning, middle, end. No one could hear the bell sitting on my desk next to computer. Must I buy a mic for the computer to pick up the sound? If I had a meditation app would it pick up the sound? Any suggestions for work around?
Apple Support told me no.

Thanks, Lisa. When on Zoom I clicked on the arrow by Audio icon in lower left of my picture and chose Audio settings. From there I selected a Low setting under Background noise. The bell can be heard.

Have you checked the settings in the Zoom app itself? I see some options that might help, but I am on a PC and the same options may not be available for Mac OS.
