Microsoft Teams video lag

I've had a new Mac mini for six months now and can't use teams. I have a Benq Monitor which has no speaker or mic, use a HomePod mini for audio and Razer Kiyo Pro as a webcam and microphone.

Trouble is in every teams call there is a time lag between the person speaking and then this appearing on video with an associated echo. They hear their voice twice.

I had an online session with MS today and they ran various checks saying all was fine with Teams and that the issue was with those I am calling but this happens with everyone I call. I'm continuing to use Teams on my iPAD as that works pretty much everytime. I'm now on my own and so would welcome any thoughts/suggestions. My suspicion is the HomePod on airplay.....

Hi just a follow up the issue seems to have been related to my HomePod Mini as soon as I switched to a regular Bluetooth speaker Teams worked fine. Really questioning my decision to buy HomePod cable connection not working with teams and so what’s the point - square peg round hole
