You cannot reset it from another phone.

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled or unavailable -

If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

Click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPhone requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer; this can't be done from another iPhone.

If there's an option to erase it, you can use that instead.
