How to watch my oen films on LG TV

Hi, I wonder if anybody could suggest me the cheapest solution to watch my films (mp4, mkc, avi) on a 2010 LG TV.

Do I need to purchase any special hardware, if so which one?

If I convert the films to an USB stick Windows formatted the TV sees them and shows them but doesnt display the subtitles. Converting to Windows is not a good idea for many reasons. A simple MAC standard drive will be better as I need to edit many times aand go from MAC to WINDOWS is not conveniient.

Else how can I see them. I need to use various codecs as the people I send them to has different systems to watch.

Yet BEFORE mailing them I need to see them on my TV which while 13 years old is still a perefectly working machine I know how to use properly.

I can use MACSTIDO or a MACPRO 2013 or even a mabookair with Sierra -----
