In some applications the Volume Buttons on my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 17.1 just don't respond. I have to adjust the volume through control center. Restarting the phone fixes it temporarily and so does closing the app and reopening sometimes.
Any permanant fixes?

I too have a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve been having probs with the volume not working at times, as if it’s on mute, but it’s not. So I just went to settings n realized that Bluetooth is connected to my ear buds, which I haven’t used n days. I thought they wud disconnect when I put them back n the case. But I just recently started using ear buds so I’m still learning. Apparently I need to go to Settings n disconnect when I’m finished using them bcuz that fixed my volume probs.
I tried that, didn't work!

I’m also having the same issue iPhone 15 pro. Haven’t read a solution yet.
I finally got through to support and was told there was most likely a problem while updating my IOS and once I connected to iTunes on my computer and reinstalled the IOS all my issues went away. Hope this helps someone
I usually have my TV on all day, and sometimes I control the TV through the Apple TV Remote included in the iPhone. I noticed that when my Dynamic Island has the Apple TV in the background the volume buttons don’t work, but when I slide the island to the left or right the buttons work again.
It is not ideal, and definitely needs the attention from Apple but the interaction between the Dynamic Island and the iPhone is the one affecting the buttons.

Did Apple manage to fix all issue mentioned here? What did Apple do to solve the issue? I just had my malfunction on the volume button.

Just send to Apple for warranty. Did mine they changed the whole inner part. Now look fine after the fix!
