Can't install iPhone app

When I try to install an iPhone the button I tap twice on the right side of the doesn't work. It goes back to get app

You can toggle off Face ID for iTunes and App Store in Settings>Face ID & Passcode, you will be prompted to add your password when you download apps

You can also check your settings in

Settings> Tap your name>Tap Media & Purchases>Tap Password Settings, choose the setting that you prefer

Is it doing with any app you try to get or just with one particular app/ if it's just one it can happen probably problems with the app or the server

It happens with every app I try to install. I double click the right button and it repeatedly goes back to the get app screen. Do I have some settings wrong or is my double tap button just not functioning?

I do not use Face ID to enable my iPhone. I use my Apple ID. If I go to Face ID, will that automatically make me use Face ID to access my phone. Not sure I want to use face id
