Any way to cycle language and emoji with globe key on the Magic Keyboard?

Just updated my 12.9” iPad Pro 4th gen to OS 17.1 after my Magic Keyboard stopped lighting up on the previous OS version. However, it seems like the globe key on the Magic Keyboard can now only be used to either switch languages or switch to the emoji keyboard, where it used to be able to cycle through my languages and the emoji keyboard. I’m learning French, so I have both the English and French keyboards installed and I often switch between the two of them, so having one button to do that is great. But I also use emojis and now they seem more inconvenient than ever unless I lose the language switching functionality. Am I missing something? Is there some setting that I’m not seeing that allows me to do things the way I did before?
