“Navigate to” no longer works with Siri

I’ve noticed that when I say, “Hey Siri, navigate to…”, Siri instead calls the place I mention. This used to find directions to the location and start navigating. This worked reliably until several days ago (maybe around the iOS/iPadOS 17.1 update). Has anyone else noticed this?

This is happening on an iPad Pro 12.9 M1 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. (I haven’t tried other devices.)

Siri searching web instead of navigating to home. I used to be able to say “navigate to home” but it stopped working a while ago. Now when I ask Siri to navigate home it tries searching the web. I’ve seen a few people have had this problem, and resetting the listen for Hey Siri seemed to fix it, but no luck for me. Has anyone had the same problem?

Why does Siri navigate to the wrong home address on my iPhone 16? When I ask Siri to “take me home” or some variance, it finds an address with the same number but always a different street. For example, I live at 123 Real St. That’s what’s on my card, my shortcuts, my preferred places, etc. etc. When I ask Siri to navigate home, it plugs in 123 Jones Ave. or 123 Smith St. anything but the actual address. I’ve tried every solution I could find for similar issues. Nothing works. (iPhone 16 with latest software installed.) [Re-Titled by Moderator]

siri working perfectly for everything else but no longer provides spoken navigation directions while driving Siri is audible and clear for everything except navigation directions on my iphone 12 pro. She works in the car on my husband's old iphone 8. She used to work fine on my iphone 12 pro but recently stopped. She gives the correct visual map but no spoken directions. I've turned Siri off and on. I've turned the whole phone off and on. Her volume is fine and apple carplay is activated. She has recently been updated to the latest version but I think this issue started before the most recent update. All Siri's settings have been checked and are fine. They pretty much match the settings on my husbands iphone 8 where she works fine. How can I make Siri go back to how she worked before and give me clear regular spoken directions so I don't have to take my eyes off the road to hear directions spoken to me?
