I just got the iphone se (2022) phone last wk I had iphone 8. Anyways, I noticed when I went to my http://icloud.com data recovery it said I had deleted contacts when I HADNT. Im wondering if this is a ios 17.1 glitch OR icloud contacts bug. Anyone else have this issue

"Contacs saved in iCloud keep getting deleted: Ok I think this is an issue with ios 17.1 because it stopped doing this for awhile and I just noticed it did it again yesterday. So I really believe it could be a glitch in ios 17.1. Hoping its fixed in 17.1.2 or 17.2"

I have not seen any reports of this. It may be a bug. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported it to Apple?"

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
