Authorizing computer in Apple TV

I tried watching a downloaded show in Apple TV. It prompted me to authorize my computer. I typed in my password, then tried to start the show again and it prompted me again to authorize my computer. Afterward, it says "your computer is already authorized" but when I tried to turn the show on, it continued to tell me I needed to authorize my computer. I've tried pretty much everything, so I don't know what else I can do to stop this endless loop.
