Possible phishing attempt at my Apple ID account

i got message from the id , ****. Says i have to confirm my apple id with trusted mobile number.


Is it spam??

You don't say where exactly you see this so it could be phishing or it could be real. If it is a valid notification on your device it could be real. Texts and emails are more likely phishing.


Scams (e-mail, text messages, and phone calls) are getting very good at closely imitating true Apple communications. Always be cautious. These support articles have some guidelines:

With two-factor authentication you may need to verify your identity using a trusted device generating a verification code when trying to conduct certain activities. If you use iOS 11.3 or later on your iPhone, you might not need to enter a verification code. In some cases, your trusted phone number can be automatically verified in the background on your iPhone. Enter the telephone number as requested by the hint.
