My 2019 Pro's Touch Bar is flickering and now the light is permanently gone. I visited the service centre. They will flash the OS and if it is a hardware issue they will replace the entire keyboard. It will cost Rs. 72000.
I am disappointed. What is the experience of the forum ?

Touchbar failure would be hardware...

It seems so. The Touch Bar is working though when I touch. It is just that it was flickering and the light turned off.
The regional service centre is going to flash the OS. This is what they described.
