CarPlay and iOS 17 DOES NOT WORK!!!

Using an iPhone 13Pro with a 2021 Audi Q5. Upgraded to iOS 17 and suddenly Siri does NOT read my text messages and there are no longer any prompts for using Apple Maps... I've tried every single thing suggested in these forums and nothing fixes the problem.

How can I downgrade the iOS?

CarPlay doesn't work with VW ID.4S after iOS 18 update Hi all, after updating to iOS 18, I haven't been able to connect my iPhone 15 Pro Max to either wired or wireless CarPlay in my 2024 VW ID.4S. The error shown on the car stereo screen is something to the effect that 'CarPlay cannot connect, turn on Siri in settings'. Siri is of course on. I've run through the normal troubleshooting including deleting all previous connections to the phone/car on the car and phone, starting wired then moving to wireless, connecting by bluetooth first, turning off rolling MAC address, etc. Sometimes the phone will appear connected by CarPlay on the phone and play music but still cause an error when starting the CarPlay on the car screen. It appears to be an incompatibility with starting the new CarPlay GUI/Siri model. Is there a setting to use the 'legacy' interface on the phone as a possible solution in the meantime. I assume it will be a while before an update to either the car or phone takes care of incompatibilities like this so looking for workarounds. I'm currently using the phone through a standard bluetooth connection without CarPlay. Thank you.

siri now broken with ios17. Totally unusable for CarPlay. I have the same phone & Lexus NX 350h. Have been typing Apple & Lexus for months now & no one taking it seriously. Ridiculous.
