Problem with download pdf and print pdf

With the old user account, can't print to pdf, download pdf docs, save ad pdf. My Mac feels hot to the touch.

Create a new user account, works fine.

Talked to help desk, went through all steps to bring it back up, but still not working. Anyone has similar problems?

Pages no longer saves or is able to export documents. What has happened? What has happened to my beloved Pages on Mac? I'm no longer able to save, export, or print documents. I'm only sometimes able to open them. When I can open a document, I'm able to work for a few minutes before I start getting errors. Sometimes, a restart gets me a few more minutes. When trying to save a document as a PDF, I get an error that states: "The document could not be autosaved." When I try to print: "Error while printing." This happens whether I try to actually print or print to PDF. At first, this felt like a permissions issue, so I've repaired permissions multiple times. I've also run Disk First Aid via Disk Utility. In a similar vein, I thought that maybe something with where it's being stored keeps messing with permissions. Originally, I was editing locally but syncing with a Synology NAS via Synology Drive Client. I've since taken Synology out of the mix and tried both starting from a document on iCloud Drive as well as a strictly local version, but none of these scenarios make a difference. I'm running macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 at the moment. Since I've had this issue, I've gone through two updates of Sonoma from 14.5 ➡ 14.6 and 14.6 ➡ 14.6.1. I do use Pages professionally, but it has become unusable. I typically export documents daily and this has thrown a real wrinkle in my workflow. I'm resorting to Word at the moment. I'm not sure if anyone has been using Word for Mac recently but it's an absolute train-wreck of an application. Has anyone experienced this issues? Got any ideas?
