Amazon web page will not open pdf in Preview app from mac print dialog. However, other web pages open the pdf in Preview. I created a new user account and problem did not appear in that account.

I solved the problem right after I posted the question. I discovered the Capital One Shopping had not finished installation. Once I finished installation of Capital One Shopping and then turned off the extension for Capital One Shopping by unchecking the box beside the extension in the extensions settings for Safari, the problem disappeared.

Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and share the results to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the Additional Text button that looks like a printed page, and paste and post the hardware and software configuration report here.
