MacBook Air: Adobe Reader not opening, PDFs not printing
I have a MacBook Air (2015) macOS Monterey 12.7.6
The Adobe Acrobat Reader will not open and if I have a PDF document, it doesn't print. Any suggestions?

Download and install the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Shutdown your Mac (not just reboot), and then upon booting, try to open any random PDF, and use the print tool from Readers toolbar, not the File menu > Print.
Does your printer work otherwise?
If installing the update (if there is one) does not work, try uninstalling (trash it, the delete it from the trash) then reinstall it from the most recent download package. Sometimes, apps get in a state where they don't work correctly and uninstalling/reinstalling will knock some sense back into them.

Create a Keyboard Shortcut:
When something like this occurs, and you cannot get around it, you can try creating a shortcut for the App. In doing so, that would potentially make the fix.
Hi…yes printing otherwise works. I will try to download as you suggested tomorrow and see if I can get it to work.
many thanks!
