Watch not counting all exercised minutes

I have mobility challenges and have been using and under the desk peddler almost every day for 2 hours and today I peddled for 1 hour 22 minutes and only got credit for 82 minutes even though my watch put 1 hour 22 minutes of exercise…. Im using stationary bike to keep track of my peddling so I realize the calories probably are off but the amount of time is the amount of time ….

How can I correct this discrepancy in my exercise time?

How can I stop my watch from pausing during my activity?

These issues seem to have started with the most recent upgrade.

Thanks in advance

As LD150 wrote, 1 hour 22 minutes is 82 minutes. 1 hour = 60 minutes, 60 + 22 = 82.

Open Settings on your Apple Watch, then tap Workout > Auto-Pause and disable it.

...how much time did it show you cycled for before the update?

• Auto Pause is only active on Running and Outdoor Cycling (it requires gps to detect a pause)
Hopefully Indoor Cycling workout is being used here, which cannot auto pause but I also recommend :
Try mixed cardio workout
• Ensure watch is a snug fit

Whoops! That'll teach me not to look for questions with the 'Browse' link at the top... sorry, I'll stay in my lane, hehe
