Norton vs Apple Backup
Norton says I cannot backup my MacBook Pro with them and that Apple is the problem.
Is this so? Should I be cross with Norton or Apple?

There are many other companies that offer cloud backup for Macs.
I use Time Machine for local backups. I sync my Photos to iCloud Photos (and keep a local copy).
I also use Carbonite for online backup. No issues. There are several other good cloud backup services.
And I would never install a Norton product of any kind on any of my devices.
