Homekit loosing Matter Thread devices

I got two HomePods as HomeKit hubs. I have around 30 Matter Devices over Thread. Both connect fast and reliably to all devices; but HomeKit keeps loosing connection.

usually it reconnects in a couple of hours. Restarting doesnt help as it forces the device to loose all connections and start to look for them again.

HomeKit is reporting Home Hubs not responding Lately I am seeing a lot of reports from HomeKit that the Home Hubs are not responding, then about a minute or two later it says that the Home Hub is responding again. I have 7 HomePods in my configuration so it is odd to me that there should be any problems. This is also something that has really just become an issue in the last month. My HomePods are all up to date (just did the latest updates last week) but are still having this issue. What is going on? Is there a cure?

Thread/Matter - HomeKit For those having problems, it is the Matter upgrade for HomeKit accessories - HomePods etc. Once you upgrade to Matter on your iPhone/iPad/Homepod then you lose your HomeKit on your Mac if you are running an older OS (Monterey in my case). I found this out after I purchased an EVE Energy plug. If you go to the Eve site it states that once you upgrade your HomePods etc to MATTER then you can no longer go back and HomeKit to older Macs will not work! Unfortunately I found this out too late and the information is a little buried on the EVE site - try the BLOG. Needless to say, I cannot get the plug to work apart from just two occasions initially, then no Thread network which runs through the HomePods... I am finding EVE support pretty poor.

HomePod 18.1 update sent HomePod into endless configuring cycle After upgrading two HomePods to 18.1, one of the devices started to configure like its a new device. It will not completely join and instead is stuck in "configuring" only to reset and repeat this process endlessly. I have hard reset the device, removed it from my account, all to no resolve. I have seen this issue time and time again in this board. I will not be changing up my wi-fi settings because it makes no sense that the settings worked on the prior software of 18.1 and now does not. Does anyone have suggestions I have not tried yet, and is anyone just a ready as I am to ditch HomeKit all together? [Edited by Moderator]
