"Brand New Macbook Air 2020 M1 dying at 60% what should i do?: So I got my MacBook Air couple of days ago, the first hour of using it I realised that it will shut down on 60% but the battery life seems fine just seems like my MacBook is reading its own percentage wrong judging by its battery life. Troubleshooting a New Mac with with Power Issues:
So, who is the seller?
A. If not Apple, then it almost seems like a scam. So, take this back to the seller. This is the site the seller should have used prior to selling it to you: Go here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, Trade in, or Recycle your Mac - Apple Support. The seller should have known better.
B. If Apple, then it seems you have a faulty device. So, ask Apple to have this diagnosed and serviced. You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this.
Apple Contact Info:
- Contact Us - Choose Locations
- Proceed from there, as necessary
- Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
