they only support the 3 latests macOS versions

if it was me then I would just get LibreOffice it's free Home | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft
and reads and writes ms office files
I recently updated my mac desktop to Catalina 10.15 . this is the highest I can go with my hardware. What version of word and excel can I use and how do i get them?
