Installer stuck

Upgrading MacBook Pro from Yosemite to BigSur is stuck at Terms and Conditions screen. I read all the content but the Agree button isn’t enabled.

I found this online; I can't vouch for its success but I hope it helps!

This seems to be a common issue that many users have encountered after signing into iCloud in the setup assistant window when trying to install or reinstall macOS or reset the password. There are some possible solutions that you can try to fix this problem:

- One workaround is to click the Back button and return to the page asking you if you want to set up iCloud. Select "Skip" or "Set up later" or words to that effect. Then, you will be able to advance to the T&C page and Agree. You can set up iCloud later.

- Another option is to log out and log in from iCloud. Go to System Preferences > Apple ID > Logout and login from iCloud. This should allow you to agree to the new iCloud Terms and Conditions.

- You can also try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC). Shut down the Mac. Press Shift-Control-Alt (Options), and, while holding these keys, press the power button. Hold all those buttons down for ten seconds, then release. Start up your Mac as usual.

- You can also verify the iCloud settings. Go to Apple Logo > System Settings > Internet Account > iCloud. Choose Accepts on the Terms & Conditions pop-up. Repeat this for each iCloud Account.
