Seeing a popup about a virus infection on my iPhone, several others have see this when trying to view a blog post on Christian website. How can I be sure my phone or the site isn’t infected

When clicking through the link to see the website and/or the blog post seeing virus warnings…close and try again it goes away ( sometimes takes 2 tries)on Safari and also Duck Duck go…

Virus or no? I was on a news website and I accidentally clicked on a link when scrolling, it didn’t fully bring me to that website because it said something along the lines of “Safari couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server…” So I took the link and plugged it into virus total and there were 4 positives saying malware. Is my iPad safe since safari couldn’t load the website?
