Battery display problem

So the story is i got some battery problem with my ipad, which is it randomly died wothout warning of low batt

so i assume there were battery problem,so i went to a phone repair shop for changin my ipad battery and it went good but the real problem is after i got my ipad from the repair shop and brought it home i notice the ipad had died so i take a quick charge for about 20 sec the ipad turned on and the percentage of the battery was 100% so i unplug it from charging,i assume the ipad has been powered off so i unlock the ipad and scroll some tiktok for just a minute and then boom the ipad died and then i charge it again and the percentage still showing 100% and then i feel weird about this so i charge it for 30 minutes and then played with it,throughout the play i watched the battery percentage and it still showing 100% and then i go for the screen on and it says the screen was on for 3 hours but the battery usage by apps were none it just shows(-),i check for the battery level and it says from 9 a.m to 4 p.m the battery is still 100%.So apple please help me with this problem i use ipad 8th gen btw and im on ipadOS17.thank you.

Presumably you used a third-party repair shop to change your iPad battery. In using a third-party repairer, you have forfeited any future support or assistance from Apple.


As such, you will need to return to whoever changed the battery - as only they can resolve the problem.


Apple do not supply OEM parts or components (such as replacement batteries) outside of its network of Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASPs). As such, a battery fitted by an independent repairer will not be an authorised component - and may not perform as expected.
