iPad Pro, iPadOS 15
I had these two dots show up yesterday. No real answer online. Tried restarting, but nothing. Some “dead” pixels can be “fixed” by gently pressing on them, but this didn’t help. So, I thought if both dots were dead pressing between them might turn them back on. It worked! Pressed the screen between the two dots and now they’re gone.

I do have exactly the same situation on my iPad Pro 12 (5th gen, 2021, A2461) since some weeks.
Seems a bit weird for a coincidence ... sadly no more AppleCare Coverage since its older than 2 years.
But this is very sad for such an expensive device ...
I have been having the exact same problem. I have only had my iPad for 2 years, iPad pro 5th Gen 12.9 inch screen. I have the green and white dot as well in the same spots. Being that this is a common issue for these ipads, does Apple prove any help regarding the fix of this issue?
I have exactly the same problem - two dots like on the photos provided by users above in the same area of the screen.
I bought my iPad Pro in March 2022 so it worked just 2 years before having this problem. Of course, I no longer have a warranty but I believe that if so many people experience the same problem, Apple should fix it for free as this is definitely a manufacturing bug.
As illustrated, you are seeing inconsistencies in the screen backlight diffuser. If the inconsistencies are an issue, the only remedy is replacement of the iPad screen assembly.
Be aware that the screen is the single most expensive component of your iPad. Unless you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan, an out of warranty repair will be expensive:
Thank you kind Sir! it worked.
