As illustrated, you are seeing inconsistencies in the screen backlight diffuser. If the inconsistencies are an issue, the only remedy is replacement of the iPad screen assembly.


Be aware that the screen is the single most expensive component of your iPad. Unless you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan, an out of warranty repair will be expensive:

I have exactly the same problem - two dots like on the photos provided by users above in the same area of the screen.

I bought my iPad Pro in March 2022 so it worked just 2 years before having this problem. Of course, I no longer have a warranty but I believe that if so many people experience the same problem, Apple should fix it for free as this is definitely a manufacturing bug.
