I have the I pad air 5 and trying to pie the new Apple Pencil usb-c i charged it all night and tried resetting network setting and shut down I pad and still no working

Once your iPad has been updated, to pair your Pencil with your iPad, the Pencil must be connected to the iPad with a USB-C cable. Once paired and charged, you can disconnect and use the Pencil.
