2012 MacBook Pro won't turn on/charge when it is off

As the title states , I have a MacBook Pro 2012 recently upgraded to 16 gb ram. 500gb ssd, with no issues. worked fine. I notice yesterday the MacBook was not responding when I hit the power button and when I plug it in the MagSafe indicator was green and not orange to indicate charging.

When the system is off and not plug in via charger the system will not boot or show any signs of life, If I plug in the charger and it will turn green and I can hit the power button system will boot like normal, and the indicator will turn from green to orange to show it is now being charge, from here I can unplug the charger and be able to run off battery till it dies, the system does not shut down automatically or anything once unplug.

I also ran a diagnostic , with a code of ADP000

Also attempted SMC reset via holding Shift+Control+Option+Power Button, also PRAM reset via Command+Option+P+R as well.

If the battery needs service, replace it.... independent of your ADP000
